COVID-19 IN 2022

WAM is committed to ensuring the New Noise program remains safe for everyone involved.

All program activities adhere to State Government COVID-19 restrictions and public health requirements. WAM closely monitor advice from the Department of Health and Department of Education, and work closely with schools and New Noise facilitators/artists to ensure any site of venue specific safety measures are met.

As per the current WA State Government requirements and COVID-19 Safe Schools measures;

  • New Noise facilitators/artists who attend school sites must provide proof of vaccination and receive a third dose (booster) vaccination within one month of eligibility (more information).
  • Masks are required to be worn in line with public health requirements. Facilitators/artists may remove their mask when teaching or providing instruction to students. (more information)
  • New Noise facilitators/artists must check-in at school sites using the ServiceWA or SafeWA app, in addition to any site-specific check in requirements
  • New Noise activities comply with current limits on in-school staff and student gatherings, and infrequent special events (more information)
